As a Construction Estimator at Nobus, you will play a critical role in analyzing project requirements, assessing costs, and developing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and timelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and attention to detail to ensure that every project is executed within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Cost Estimation – Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on project specifications.
Budget Planning & Analysis – Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop cost-effective construction solutions.
Market Research & Supplier Negotiation – Source pricing, analyze supplier bids, and negotiate competitive rates to optimize project costs.
Risk Assessment & Cost Control – Identify potential budget risks and implement strategies to maintain financial efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project cost breakdowns.
What We’re Looking For:
Industry Experience – 3+ years in construction estimating, cost analysis, or a related field.
Technical Skills – Proficiency in estimating software (such as ProEst, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam).
Analytical Mindset – Strong ability to interpret blueprints, evaluate bids, and forecast project costs.
Attention to Detail – Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Excellent Communication – Strong collaboration skills to work with vendors, clients, and project managers.
